Bratchell Models Thameslink 319/3

At the Warley National Model Railway exhibition in November 2019 James Bratchell announced he would be releasing a new 4mm scale class 319/3 model during 2020, and it is available now. This model is in the previously un-modelled (in RTR form) Thameslink dark blue/yellow/white livery and will be available as a Ready to Assemble (RTA) kit (not including wheels, motor, nor interior) at £360 and Ready to Motorise (RTM) form (assembled, not including motor nor interior) at £504. A pack of suitable wheels, bearings and couplings is also a purchase option should you want all the bits available from Bratchell Models but wish to assemble the model yourself (£72). The purchaser/builder will need to source and fit a motor bogie or power chassis, interiors, pantograph and Southern Electric specific details such as conductor rail pick-ups and certain items of underfloor electrical equipment. Modellers may also want to further detail the model by fitting lights, etc. Pictures on this page illustate the model as supplied by Bratchell Models.
