Franchise runs from 1 April 2016 to December 2018

This franchise is operated by Govia.

The franchise roughly covers the old Eastern Division of the Southern Region, plus the High speed route to St. Pancras Station.

Class 375 Southeastern Trains

Southern/Thameslink and Great Northern

Franchise runs from 14 September 2014 to September 2021

This franchise is operated by Govia.

The area of operation within the Southern area is roughly equivalent to the old Central Division of the Southern Region plus the services are extended beyond the old Southern area to Bedford, Luton and West Hampstead.

South Western Railway

Franchise runs from 20th August 2017

This franchise is a joint operation between First group and MTR of Hong Kong.

Its area of operation covers the old Western Division of the Southern Region.
