Special Traffic July 2011
Two sporting events in the south east in July proved that the tradition of Special Traffic to support such events is very much alive and kicking.

British Open Golf Championship, Sandwich
The queuing arrangements, portable toilets and police incident unit in the station car park at Sandwich

The British Open Golf Championship at Sandwich attracted large crowds to this remote part of Kent. To alleviate road traffic an impressive number of special services were provided between London and Sandwich and Deal.

As an introduction, this photograph shows the queuing arrangements, portable toilets and police incident unit in the station car park at Sandwich.
