The British Open Golf Championship at Sandwich attracted large crowds to this remote part of Kent. To alleviate road traffic an impressive number of special services were provided between London and Sandwich and Deal. As an introduction, this photograph shows the queuing arrangements, portable toilets and police incident unit in the station car park at Sandwich. |
