the rear end of the railtour through platform 2 at Staines The railtour passing through Staines approximately 30 minutes down.

2412 at Windsor The first of two suburban destinations - Windsor & Eton Riverside and you can just make out Windsor Castle above the station.

2412 and 5871 at the buffer stops under the trainshed at Windsor Quick turnround but everyone piles out to get their photos of the ends of the train. Contrast with the usual class 455 units plying the line!   5871 is in platform 2.

plush pig on the buffers The tour was accompanied by a distinctly soft plush pig, not a plastic pig nor genetically a pig from Wessex. We will catch up with the plush pig at Shepperton.....

the railtour departing Windsor The railtour departs Windsor some 25 minutes behind schedule, reversal at Twickenham being the next major event.
