EPB Preservation Group EMU Days

4CEP 7105 arriving at Sheperdswell on the 14:55 from Eythorne on 13th June 2009. Although numbered as a Cep, it is running with a buffet car.

The EPB Preservation Group announces details of the EMU Days on 18th and 19th September 2010. A variety of trains will operate on the East Kent Railway on both days.

Trains leave Shepherdswell at 11.00, 12.30, 13.30 and 15.15. Normal Day Rover fares apply, Adult £7, Senior £6, Child £4 and family £17.

The 11.00 and 15.15 services will use 2EPB 5759 and Motor Luggage van 68001. The two lunchtime trains will use 4CEP 7105, with a bar open in the buffet car. Trains will be powered by loco 09025/D4113. The 15.15 departure will operate under genuine electric power for much of the journey.

The East Kent Railway is situated at Shepherdswell, adjacent to the Network Rail station
