SOUTH HAMPSHIRE BRANCH MEETINGS
The South Hampshire Branch, in conjunction with the Southern area of the Light Rail Transit Association, hold their joint meetings at The Eastleigh Railway Institute in Romsey Road, SO50 9FE and start at 19:30, on the first Tuesday of every month. Anyone with an interest in railways and tramways is very welcome. The venue is a short walk from the railway and bus stations and there is ample parking nearby.
No meetings in July and August
4 Sep – Martyn Davies brings another of his selections of railway slides.
2 Oct – Paul Coles takes us on a tour of preserved trams in the British Isles.
6 Nov – AGM followed by members’ digital slides.
4 Dec – We welcome David Brown who will address us on Southern Electric trains, from 1939 to the present day.
There is a charge of £3.00 to cover meeting costs and light refreshments are available at the Institute. Visitors and prospective new members are invited to attend. SUSSEX BRANCH MEETINGS
All meetings take place in the DEALL Room at Southwick Community Centre, Southwick Street, Southwick, Sussex, BN42 4TE (a short walk from Southwick Railway Station) and commence at 19:30, finishing around 22:00. There is limited car parking on site and opposite. Entry is free to members but a charge of £3.00, to help with expenses, is requested from visitors.

Aug 13th – An archive of cine films part 2, with Keith Carter.
Sep 10th – Scrapping the Southern, off to the breaker’s yard with John Burling.
Oct 8th – Building Calstock Viaduct across The Tamar, followed by a journey to Canada’s White River. Presented by Keith Godsell.
Nov 12th – The return journey. Andrew Marshall re-caps on his 20 years of presentations for SEG.
Dec 10th – Member’s evening and the Annual raffle.
