East Kent Signal Box Visits

A visit to Canterbury East signal box is confirmed for Friday September 16th. A visit to Faversham East is still under negotiation. The number who can be accommodated on these visits is very limited so an early application is advised (see below).

It is possible that subject to demand we may be able to visit other nearby boxes before they close, and members are invited to express an interest in doing so as the visit may well be arranged before the October Live Rail arrives. We regret that it is only possible to arrange these visits on weekdays. To apply for the September visits and/or express and interest in future visits please e mail visits@southernelectric.org.uk .

Potential visit to the South West Trains Driver Training Simulator at Basingstoke

SEG members please note, we been advised by South West Trains that such a visit is not going to be possible for the forseeable future. More information about this and other visits will be posted here and in Live Rail when it is available.
