With all doors now closed (manually by the passengers!) the tour gets the right away from Bournemouth. Following this the train was routed out of platform 3 across the 15 mph crossovers (that provide entry into Middle Sidings) onto the reversible Up Main thence back onto the Down Main at Cemetery Junction so giving a different view of the Middle Sidings to the previous week's run. There did not seem to be an operational reason for this so it is assumed this routing was added for the entertainment of the passengers. photograph by Terry Wong Min |
