Engineering work at Clapham Junction over Easter

There was extensive engineering work on the south-western side of Clapham Junction to re-new the trackwork over the Easter weekend. As aresult there were diversions to South West Trains services, which were running to much revised patterns using only the Windsor lines through the station. More details are on the following page. Southern, Gatwick Express and London Overground services through the station were unaffected.

Didn't there used to be track here? Earth moving equipment renewing the track bed!
Well at least this bit of plant is stored off the main line, not that any trains are running on it!
The trains standing at platforms 10 and 11 are not in service!  Earth moving equipment on the tracks...
