FCC Driver Training to Sevenoaks
319449 through Orpington on 8th October 2008

In preparation for the forthcoming joint Southeastern/First Capital Connect service to Sevenoaks, Bedford based drivers started undertaking route learning trips during the first week in August. Colin Price has been out and about capturing various runs.

319362 approaching Herne Hill from the Beckenham Junction direction on 2nd October 2008 319 in rural looking suburbia. 319362 with the 11+41 Sevenoaks - Blackfriars at Herne Hill on 2nd October 2008. Whilst these units are familiar here, coming from the Beckenham Junction direction is unusual.
319370 at Otford with the 14+08 Sevenoaks - Blackfriars on 1st October 2008 319370 at Otford with the 14+08 Sevenoaks - Blackfriars on 1st October 2008.
319379 at Sevenoaks on 15th August

319379 at Sevenoaks on 15th August.

A busy scene withn 319002 woring up through Bickley on 14th August Proving that 319s really are back in deepest South East Division territory, on the afternoon of 14th August Southern liveried (just to confuse matters!) 319002 worked up through Bickley with the 14+07 Sevenoaks - Blackfriars training run passing Southeastern 375802 and 465029 on down services.
319430 working down through Orpington on 12th August

319430, the last silver & blue liveried 319 - and thus the only member of this class in these colours ever to work on the SED - working down through Orpington with the 13+09 Blackfriars - Sevenoaks on the 12th August. It is thought that from March 2009 there will be no workings of 319s in passenger service on this route to Sevenoaks, thus sightings thereafter will be confined to early morning and late evening ECS workings.
