Southeastern Trains Display Class 376

cd376002_6.jpg (32261 bytes) Although the doors open automatically there is also an illuminated button. It will be interesting to see how often these doors open un-necessarily when the train is well loaded and passengers are standing adjacent to these doors.

cd376002_10.jpg (20000 bytes) Unlike outer-suburban and long distance Electrostars this inner suburban version has sliding doors in a wider opening.

cd376002_8.jpg (23385 bytes) Most modern electric units are of modular design which includes a range of   traction packages. So there is a pantograph well in case the unit is ever converted to ac overhead pickup or dual voltage/pickup working.
