| The Javelin Starts |
29th June 2009 saw Southeastern's high speed service known as 'the Javelin' begin a limited service. A full service will begin from 13 December 2009. There is an extra price to pay for the service. From Ashford to London return is £48.70, whereas a standard ticket is £40.60 but with that extra cost comes a dramatic drop in travelling time. Live Rail Editor, Simon Jeffs, would love to hear your impressions of the World's fastest commuter EMUs! Further information about the service can be found on Southeastern's website |
