| 377/2 on the East Coastway |
![]() |
Although 377/2s spread their wings occasionally they are not common on the East Coastway route. On 12th September 2011 377214 worked the 14:22 Ore to Brighton service and is seen here passing Bulverhythe, near Bexhill. |

On 31st August 2009 at Arundel, a route block was in place to allow the replacement of two bridges. (left) 377310 approaching the end of the line, ready to change direction. Two road cranes can be seen in the distance at the bridge replacement sites |

| 377/2s on loan to First Capital Connect |
![]() |
As recorded elsewhere, Southern loaned First Capital Connect eight class 377/2 units to make up for the late delivery of their class 377/5 units. Here 377201 and 377213 are working the 16:46 Bedford - Ashford International service through Eynsford on 29th April 2009. |

| Electrostar on the Midland | |
![]() |
In preparation of receipt of their 23 new class 377/5 units between November 2008 and March 2009, mostly for use on Bedford - Brighton services, since May 20th First Capital Connect have been borrowing Southern's 377202 for testing purposes. Curently the track access agreement allows for two ad-hoc diagrams to be inserted between existing diagrams 09:00-15:00 SX. That unit is seen here at a very wet Luton Airport Parkway on 4th September. |
Electrostar livery variation or aberration?
|
|
![]() |
Is this a new livery variation or merely a mistake? 377307 currently has no yellow cantrail stripe above its first class section, as seen here at London Bridge on the morning of 10th May 2007. photograph by Ian Docwra |
