2424 returns from Ilford in the snow
2424 through a snowy Stratford Thursday 8th February 2007, a couple of inches of snow threatens to paralyse travel and normal life in the South of England and James Stearn decides to use his unexpected day off school to photograph trains.  At Stratford (London) he catches u2424 being hauled from its C6 overhaul at Ilford bound not for store at Alstom Eastleigh but for Stewarts Lane - note carefully the destination speculators!
