A review of these fine models will follow in the new year, meanwhile to whet your appetite:
Accurascale ACC2191 92003 “Beethoven”
Accurascale ACC2199 92036 “Bertold Brecht”
Accurascale ACC2198 92032 “Imeche Railway Division”
Some comments based on a second quick appraisal:
-
- These models are dripping in very fine detail
- They run very well, and at least when running on DC they appear to be highly geared so comparatively slow but steady runners
- The question all OO gauge Southern Electric modellers need to know – how does the shoebeam/pickups align with conductor rail placed at the end of 16.5mm gauge track? The bogies appear to be made to true 4mm scale and therefore the shoebeams run outside of a conductor rail on OO/HO gauge track, which is in common with most RTR models.
