Bachmann Winter 2023 Announcements

Announced online from 09:30 on 1st November, it is another good quarter for Southern Electric 4mm scale modellers!

Developed by Kernow Model Rail Centre (with this group’s assistance) sees Bulleid/Raworth Booster locos CC1/CC2 in five era-detail-specific versions issued in the EFE range.

Thought to be inevitable given the 4Tep and refurbished 3Cep in the last quarter, we now have three refurbished 4Ceps to follow.

Note in the Bachmann Scenecraft 4mm scale range two Two Track Electric Train Depots (with white or red windows), that can be combined alongside each other or after each other, or both, to make a larger shed, have also been announced.  Though with a recommended retail price of £149.95 I cannot see many modellers going for large buildings out of these.  These are brick buildings reminiscent of former steam loco sheds that have been modified.  They do not look to me strongly reminiscent of many EMU sheds on the Southern, but they may be similar to some older London Underground car sheds.
